I’m the first in my family to go down the path to musical enlightenment. The onslaught of Queen and Michael Jackson as a kid definitely helped shape my musical tastes. The first CD I ever owned was, and still is, my favourite album of all time. That album being “Permission to Land” by The Darkness. It introduced me to a harder rock sound that I had not previously heard and it kicked my ass. The rest follows as any typical rock loving teenager moving from Metallica to Megadeth and so on.

I picked up the guitar at a young age but never took it seriously until I was about 13. For the next 4 years I had no social life, I would play guitar for 8 hours a day during the school holidays. I couldn’t get enough and always wanted to be the best I could be.

I’ve never had as much fun as playing with Sonic Altar. Performing with talented musicians is a huge rush for me and gives me the drive to become better myself. Everything I do within the band is exciting from rehearsals to song writing and it couldn’t be with a better bunch of guys. I’m looking forward to what the future holds for us and rocking out some tracks to people all around the world.
